Lazy Sunday and homemade apple cake...

Bread

Yes...after some weeks of trying, it actually worked to bake my first own bread from selfmade sourdough.
And it tastes soooo much better than bread made with yeast and far more better then bread from the supermarket. Not actually comparable ;) 

Opening

This saturday the opening op the PopUp store from the label "Rijkdom" in Deventer took place. What a great place, full of beautiful  and handmade things :)
It will be open until 14.12.2014.

Cooking workshop

Last weekend Christel and I gave a cooking workshop and taught people how to use the plants and food we can find all around us in nature. 
We went to a park and collected plants like nettles to make soup from and also made our own homemade zucchini preserves . 

Socks

Wow... those arrived today, fresh from Latvia via Etsy.
Actually bought them as a present...but I would love to keep them myself.
Really well made and the colours are so happy!

Pop-Up store in Deventer

I take part in the Pop-Up store from Jojanneke and AnnaKarina in Deventer and today I brought them products from my label EatenApple.

Deventer is such a beautiful city. At the end of the sunny and summerlike day we found a lovely little Tea Room "The Wallstreet Tearose" where we had homade scones with real clotted cream...

Days are getting shorter, you can smell the falling leaves, autumn arrived...

Local Sunday Market finds

Some of the lovely things I found on the Local Sunday Market last weekend. 

Juice from Christel, "Ball" Jam glasses from Puzzles Foodtruck, cutting board from PLAN-K, wooden beads chain from Kus van Mus and lovely small paper hangers.

The 3rd edition of the "Local Sunday Market" we organised took place on Sunday 28th of September and was a great success!

Today I also found some nice new things at the HEMA in town. After they renovated their shops I find their atmosphere so much nicer. 
A bit comparable to the Flying Tiger shops.

New boxes

As the first climbing boxes we made for our cats were such a success, we made new ones for a friend of mine, who also has two cats.
